Mentoring Program: MetroBots

The MetroBots had a field trip to Bodies: The Exhibition to do research for their display project. The display project is for the First Lego League Body Forward 2010 Challenge.
The MetroBots also visited the Emory Spine Center:Atlanta Prosthetic & Orthotics to better understand how prostheses are made for amputees.
We assembled in the waiting area to get ready for tour of the facilities.
Just another working Sunday @ the Martial Arts Center where we meet each Sunday from 2:30-6:00pm. The design team has a lot of work to do on the robot and on assembling the practice field.

MetroBots is our outreach mentoring program that was chartered in January 2010 under the National Society of Black Engineers Jr chapter to provide young golfers ages 9-17yrs hands-on knowledge and skills in the area of science, technology and engineering as it relates to the world around them.
